Who controls your information

What is collected

Project and contact information can include your name, telephone, email, postcode, product interest, dimensions, timescale, notes, photographs and campaign attribution.

Why it is used

Information is used to review the request, contact you, plan a survey and prepare a quotation. It is not sold.

How enquiries are stored and delivered

Website enquiries are sent securely to the private ALFA FORMA Lead Workspace hosted by Railway in its EU West region in Amsterdam. Contact details, project information and uploaded photographs are stored on private persistent storage and are available only to authorised ALFA FORMA staff. Resend is used to deliver operational enquiry notifications. These providers act as processors on our instructions, and international processing is protected by their contractual safeguards.

How long information is kept

We review enquiry records and uploaded photographs after 24 months since the last meaningful contact, and normally erase those no longer needed. Information may be retained longer where a quotation becomes a project or where legal, accounting, warranty or dispute requirements apply; the reason is recorded in the private lead workspace. Erasure removes the live record and photographs. Historical Railway backup snapshots may retain a copy until their normal expiry; they are used only for disaster recovery, and any erasure must be reapplied after a restore.
